MicroLink and SmartLink by
Phonak
- Hearing aid wearers sometimes have communication
needs that go beyond what even advanced hearing aids can offer. Completely
wireless FM systems
often can solve these wearers' problems!
- SMART LINK
: An ear-level system that is compatible with
many manufacturer's behind-the-ear hearing aids, including
Phonak
, Oticon
, GN ReSound
, Siemens, Starkey, Unitron, and
Widex
. (Note: modifications to these manufacturers' hearing aids may be required!)
As shown above, the Microlink/Smart Link system consists of a tiny cube-like
receiver and "boot" that simply snap onto the body of the hearing aid!
When used with the Phonak transmitter, the speaker's voice is delivered
directly to the wearer's hearing aid.
- MICROVOX:
A body-worn system for use with any hearing aids that utilize
direct-audio input (DAI) or a telecoil switch. When used with the Phonak
HandyMic (TX3) or MicroVox (TX2) transmitter, the speaker's voice is delivered
directly to the MicroVox receiver which is then directed to the wearer's hearing
aid.
