Dr. Sara Woolley grew
up an U.S. Air Force dependent living in many states and Germany.
She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communicative Processes
and Disorders from the University of Florida in 1992.
She graduated with a Master of Arts in Audiology from Memphis State
University in 1994. Dr. Woolley worked for five
years at Chattanooga Ear, Nose and Throat Associates in Chattanooga,
TN, where she completed her Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
She joined Northeast Atlanta Ear, Nose and Throat in 1999 as a staff
audiologist, and then Ear Consultants of Georgia as a cochlear implant
audiologist in 2002.
She received her Doctorate of Audiology,
Au.D., at Pennsylvania College of Optometry in March 2005. Dr. Woolley is licensed in the state of Georgia as
an Audiologist. She is a fellow of the American Academy
of Audiology (AAA), a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing
Association (ASHA), past-Secretary and member of the Georgia Academy
of Audiology (GAA), and advisor to the Georgia Peach Cochlear Implant
Association.
Dr. Woolley became associated with Audiological
Consultants of Atlanta in September of 2004 and is based in our
Duluth office. Dr. Woolley is an active
member of the Junior League of Atlanta and high school youth program
advisor at her church. She currently resides in Duluth, GA with
her family.
